Bowmayster
Web Design Concept
Bowmayster is a conceptual website redesign for an architecture studio. The goal was to design a minimal, elegant portfolio site that highlights architectural projects and communicates the firm’s identity with clarity and confidence. The Problem: Many architecture sites are visually appealing but lack usability. I wanted to create a site that balances visual impact with a smooth user experience — focusing on structure, hierarchy, and easy navigation. My Role: This was a solo concept project. I was responsible for layout design, typography choices, and building the UI in Figma.

I began with a competitive analysis of architecture and creative studio websites to understand common patterns. I defined the core goals: showcasing work beautifully, enabling intuitive navigation, and expressing a sense of space and precision. From there, I created wireframes and defined a grid system that allowed for flexibility while maintaining strong visual rhythm. Special attention was given to typography and whitespace — key elements in architecture and design. The UI concept focuses on large visuals, modular layouts, and a muted, timeless color palette. The navigation is simple and consistent, ensuring easy access to projects.
The final concept is a sleek, editorial-style website that aligns with architectural values — clarity, order, and detail. It elevates the work without overshadowing it, creating a strong digital presence for a creative studio.
